Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on your weight and height. It is commonly used to assess whether a person has a healthy body weight.
BMI Formula
BMI = Weight (kg) ÷ Height² (m²)
BMI Categories
- Underweight: BMI less than 18.5
- Normal weight: BMI between 18.5 and 24.9
- Overweight: BMI between 25 and 29.9
- Obese: BMI 30 or above
